Holaa!!! Antes de darles mi opinión les hablare un poco sobre la historia:

Nora es una joven de 18 años que ha dejado ir su sueño de ir a la universidad para quedarse en su ciudad Donovan Indiana, para ayudar a su familia , ya que debido a la enfermedad de su padre el no puede trabajar y todo recae en los hombros de su madre y ella. Un día el destino pone en su camino a un turista de origen Escocés llamado Jim McAlister, que al verla queda enamorado de ella. Desesperada por salir de su ciudad acepta la proposición de Jim de escaparse con él y así poder cumplir sus sueños, pero cada decisión que toma la hace ir perdiéndose a ella misma para moldearse al modo que esperan las otras personas, lo cual solo la hace alejarse mas de sus metas.

Como podrán leer la sinopsis del libro no revela mucho así que tratare de no hacer tanto spoiler.

El libro es un viaje de emociones donde el elemento principal es el amor propio, la lucha por nuestros sueños,  el no rendirse y sobre todo no cambiar lo que somos por hacer feliz a otros. Esta historia esta  dividida en 3 partes que ami punto de vista va mostrando la maduración de carácter del personaje de Nora, que es marcada por golpes inesperados de la vida.

La primera parte fue la mas complicada de leer ya que la sentí un poco lenta mas sin embargo creo que es la mas importante debido a que nos muestran a una Nora vulnerable y nos ayuda a comprender sus decisiones. Para la segunda parte tenemos la aparición de 2 personajes que se vuelven muy importantes en la historia y ayudaran a Nora a madurar y decidir que es lo que realmente quiere de la vida sin importar la opinión de otros.  De la tercera parte no les hablare mucho para no revelar algo importante de la historia, pero aquí vemos a una Nora fuerte, decidida que lucha por lo que siempre a querido y no se somete ante las opiniones de otras personas mostrándose  de la forma que siempre ha querido ser.

Todo el libro es narrado desde el punto de vista de Nora y va avanzando en una evolución de 6 años, la forma de escribir de la autora es ligera y agradable, y logra meterse bajo tu piel  haciéndote sentir las emociones de la protagonista, confesare que hubo 3 momentos en la historia que me hicieron soltar las lagrimas, pero también hubo otros que me emocionaron demasiado, casi llegando a los capítulos finales de la historia tuve que pausarla porque no la quería terminar, me encanto la trama y ame a cada uno de los personajes eso incluye a los secundarios que fueron estupendos y le dieron el toque relax a la historia.
